我2011年在香港理工大學統計及電子計算學士學位畢業（三級榮譽）,我2009年在香港理工大學讀完投資科學學士學位，我2007年在香港理工大學數學、統計及電子計算高級文憑畢業（良好）。1997年至2004年，我得到大埔區好學生獎項，我讀中一時，我得到全班第一名和中國語文全級第一名。我讀中二時，我得到家長教師會獎學金、全班第一名和中國歷史全級第一名，我讀中三時，我得到全班第一名、全級第一名、數學全級第一名和中國歷史全級第一名。2016年，我得到大埔區好市民獎項和徵文比賽公開組優異獎。我讀小學六年級時，我得到學業成績獎學金、小導師服務獎、操行優異獎、清潔模範生獎、默書優異獎。我在2000年香港公益金書簽設計比賽得到優異獎。 我在星期一至星期日早上九點到晚上十點可以幫學生補習。

本人畢業於香港大學，主修數學。一直對數學充滿熱誠，擅長以邏輯分析問題並找出解決方法。所以在教學上，不單會向學生講解如何得出答案，更會解釋為甚麼能想到這種方法，讓學生能夠真正理解整個概念。 除了講解知識外，我亦會耐心地透過提問了解學生在哪些地方出現誤解，從而糾正他們的觀念。因此，我的學生通常都能輕鬆跟上課堂進度。 我擁有超過20年一對一數學補習經驗，以及6年小組教學經驗，以教中學生為主。教學內容包括概念講解、大量練習以鞏固公式及技巧，以及訓練考試技巧。過往主要教授香港課程，現居英國，教了不少IGCSE，GCSE，A-level及IB學生，因此我對GCSE、A-level及IB課程內容均相當熟悉。 在我的教學經驗中，我認為最重要的是讓學生真正理解概念，明白自己在做甚麼，而不是單純死記公式和方法。因此，在我的課堂中，學生會接觸大量不同類型的題目，以訓練和挑戰他們的思考能力。我認為這種著重批判性思維的教學方式，特別適合中學生。當然，我亦會提供練習作鞏固、教授計算機使用方法及考試技巧等，幫助學生在考試中取得理想成績。

I have been an undergraduate Mathematics Teaching Assistant at the University of Toronto for 2 years already. I am currently a 3rd year undergraduate student at the University of Toronto, specialize in Mathematiccal Fianance and Economics, major in Statistics and pure Mathematics. I attended Diocesan Boys School (DBS) until Grade 9. I went to Toronto for further education afterwards.

I am a Physics graduate from University of California Irvine (UCI). I had 2+ year official teaching experience in college, secondary and primary schools with English. Now I am teaching gifted students Math and Physics, and studying PGDE in HKU. I am capable of teaching Chemistry, Mathematics and Physics since my major requires combination of knowledge Physics, Mathematics, Computation methods, Astronomy, and university-level general Chemistry to deal with problems. Certainly, I can teach any subjects stated above in English, just like I used to teach in the United States. In order to get to know Sciences - Physics and Math, the laws and theories in text books are just like rules in Math, so if you have difficulty in learning Sciences, I can make your sweet heart feel interested in Sciences. I think this is the best way to do his best. So far the students in the past all have obvious improvements on the subjects I tutored, such as Calculus, Physics, and Chemistry (ALL are UNIVERSITY-LEVEL). I was born in Hong Kong, and spent my first 12 years there. Then I moved to the UK for 3 years to complete IGCSEs. Afterwards I went to the US for 8 years (7 years in California, 1 year in Virginia) to attain my bachelor’s degree, work as a Junior Specialist, and earn my master’s degree. I am back to Hong Kong since 2013, and after a brief stint as a Research Assistant, I decided to pursue a doctoral degree. I am now in my final year of completion of the doctoral degree. My background is research in the life sciences, medical, and computer science disciplines, but I have always had a close to native level grasp of English since young. I decided I am interested in tutoring English since the language is universal and surely is one of, if not the most important subject. Through my studies and learnings from professors from around the world, I realised one of my main strengths is communicating academics to others in a clear, concise and interesting manner. I have experience in both tutoring adults (chemistry) and children (English).
