本人喜歡語言文字研究，畢業於中國語言及文學系，副修日語，並考獲N2成績。隨後亦修畢教育文憑（中文教育）。自學韓語，考獲最高級別TOPIK II Grade 6，曾擔任展覽即時傳譯，熟知日、韓文化及語言。本人曾於大學時期擔任不同到校課程導師，包括：中學中文說話訓練班、中文辯論班、中文課後輔導班、日語班，了解不同程度學生所需。現職中學中文教師，精通中學初、高中中文課程，熟悉應試技巧，掌握文憑試趨勢。同時，亦明白學生學習難點，尤其高中範文，並擅長以多元學習法鼓勵學生，激起學生學習動機。

Hello everyone! 大家好! I'm Frankie (我叫 Frankie), a native Cantonese speaker raised in Hong Kong with professional proficiency in Mandarin. With over 8 years of experience, I specialize in teaching both Cantonese and Mandarin, along with Chinese culture, to non-native speakers. I take joy in fostering cultural exchanges among diverse individuals. My students, spanning the globe from the US and UK to Canada, India, Germany, Hong Kong, Australia, and more, come from various backgrounds, including teachers, business consultants, doctors, and students from elementary to university levels. Currently, I offer the following lessons: 1. Cantonese (From beginner to advanced): These lessons will focus on the basic elements of Cantonese, including Jyutping, tones, vocabulary, and sentence structures. Students will enhance their proficiency through various topics such as self-introduction, discussing hobbies, and expressing dates and times. I design my teaching materials, supplementing them with exercises from available textbooks. Regular in-class and take-home exercises will be assigned to ensure students' growth. 2. Conversational Chinese (both Cantonese and Mandarin) for intermediate and advanced students: Each lesson will concentrate on a specific topic to improve speaking, listening, and acquire new vocabulary. 3. Chinese Reading and Writing for intermediate and advanced students: These lessons aim to enhance writing and reading proficiency through selected materials covering diverse topics. We'll analyze various sentence structures to help students become better readers and writers. Between lessons, students are expected to compose a piece of Chinese writing. All students, whether familiar with Cantonese or Mandarin, are welcome. 4. Chinese culture, history, and literature: These lessons will guide students in exploring various aspects of Chinese culture. No prior knowledge of Chinese is required. 5. Classical Chinese (wenyanwen 文言文): With profound knowledge of classical Chinese grammar, I can teach both native and non-native Chinese speakers interested in this ancient language. Due to the specialized nature of classical Chinese and its less common teaching, the price for this course is higher than others (negotiable).
