I studied law (LLB 2018; PCLL 2019) at Kings College London (UK) and the University of Hong Kong. I am passionate to prepare local and international students for English, IELTS, IB/GCE Economics and/or IB/IGCSE/GCE Mathematics as well as offer career guidance to aspired law students. I am a British Chinese who has recently relocated from London to Hong Kong, after spending nearly 20 years living in the UK. I am a multi-talented individual who are good at sciences and arts. I am trilingual (English, Cantonese and Mandarin) and good at languages but my preferred language is English. I have a strong British cultural background where I am confident that through my tutoring, students can be influenced to become more creative in their learning process. I have gained many qualifications in arts: Grade 8 in Piano, Grade 7 in Singing, Grade 8 in Ballet and Grade 1 in Violin. All qualifications were gained in the United Kingdom. I am particularly keen in teaching English (spoken and classwork) to students at all levels. I also teach piano in English where students can learn piano as well as to learn English at the same time. A nutritionist by background, I received education in the UK since GCSE and am familiar with the education system there. I also completed a first Bachelor Degree in Nutrition at the University of Surrey, then completed a Masters Degree (MSc) in Public Health Nutrition from the London Metropolitan University, and recently received another Masters Degree (MSc) in Public Health from the London South Bank University. I have a very sound education background and can set an example to many students in Hong Kong. Having studied in Hong Kong in the past, I understand the core value of Chinese families when it comes to education. I am into interactive based teaching and learning methods, and am passionate about the wellbeing and learning attitudes of children. I am currently studying at the AA School of Architecture in London, and have just finished my first year of a bachelor's degree in Architecture. This is my sixth year studying in the UK. I graduated from a top independent high school (Concord College), where I gained A*A*A for my GCE Alevels, and 10A*s plus 2As for my GCSEs. Hence, I am very confident at tutoring any subject for primary students; Physics, Maths, and Visual Arts for secondary students. I could also provide help with IELTS, especially with the reading section, of which I gained full mark. I studied in England for nine years from the age of nine, and I obtained my GCSE, AS and A-Levels there. Then, I decided to return to Hong Kong for my career. I obtained a TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) certificate in 2012, which was certified by Trinity College London. In the same month of graduation, I started my current full-time job as a Native English Teacher at a learning centre. I teach students between 3-18 years of age. Areas include phonics, reading, writing, speaking, listening and grammar. I also have experience in teaching adult learners, and preparing anyone who intends to take external English exams, such as Trinity GESE, IELTS, TOEFL, Cambridge KET and Cambridge PET. Additionally, I also teach students who takes TSA, GCSE, IGCSE, HKDSE, AS, A-Level. I have also had students who took lessons to get better prepared for studying overseas. I teach with British English and I am a very strict teacher when it comes to hand-writing.

Hi everyone! I'm Ernest Tsoi (20), a Year 4 Biomedical Sciences (BBMSc) Major, English Studies (ES) Minor currently studying in HKU. I've also been accepted in a coveted joint university programme with USydney for a Masters in Physiotherapy. I took the IB back in 2018 and achieved 44/45 for the following subjects: 3 Higher Levels in Biology, Economics, Chinese B; and 3 Standard Levels in Chemistry, English and Mathematics. Prior to the IB, I've also studied the IGCSEs and have had experience tutoring in both areas. I'm comfortable with tutoring the following subjects: Biology, English and Economics, for students of all ages. I'm also open to essayediting jobs as I've had plenty experience doing so (currently maintaining a 4.0 GPA in my English courses).
