My name is Charmaine. Although I was born in HK, I moved to Beijing at the age of 12 and attended international school since. I am therefore fluent in English, Mandarin and Cantonese. I began tutoring since high school. I was a one-to-one tutor on various subjects, teacher assistant for language classes, and an English teacher at local primary schools. After completing the IB Bilingual Diploma, I earned a BFA in UBC. After that, I taught in multiple local primary and secondary schools as a native English teacher, but also took on other private tutor cases on other subjects.

I am currently studying computer science with business management in HKUST. Previously, I studied IB in Li Po Chun United World College, and finished IGCSE in Singapore International School. I have achieved third in grade in Singapore International School, and have been strong in the field of mathematics and sciences, achieving A* in normal/ accelerated mathematics and physics, as well 800/800 for SAT Level II Math and 790/800 for SAT Physics. Besides making sure that the theory is understood, my teaching will also have heavy emphasis on the tips and tricks for exams that I personally tried and tested.
