Virginia has a strong passion for teaching and learning. Her mission is to provide opportunities for students to make music they love and to proceed at their own pace individually and to develop wider musical skills by small theory games (in the case of teaching children and beginners). As well as orchestral playing, Virginia enjoys playing in smaller groups notably with the KCLMMS sinfonietta. Virginia has also earned ABRSM Grade 8 Piano and music theory. She is also an erhu player who previously studied with Professor Colin Huehns at the Royal Academy of Music - Additionally, Virginia is a young composer whose goal is to spread the enjoyment of musicmaking through writing pieces using a comprehensible, engaging musical language.
