I graduated as an IB student from the UK in 2021. I can speak fluent British English as I grew up in Bath, UK. I can also speak fluent Cantonese, Mandarin and a bit of Spanish. I do Higher Level Economics, English and Chinese Literature. At Standard Level, I do Maths A&A, Biology and Geography. I have received scholarship offers from HKUST, HKU and CUHK, as well as UK universities. In the end, I achieved 40 points out of 45 for my IBDP. Over the course of my school life, I have tutored many students and have been highly commended by teachers. I specialise in exam skills, as I am a strategic learner. Hi, Im Janice from Shenzhen. I am now studying at MATESOL(Master of Arts, Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) at the University of Hong Kong. Prior to MATESOL, Ive studied at a bilingual programme (English & French) in Shenzhen University. Ive had an internship for one year in Shenzhen University for one year, teaching freshmen College English(1) in the language lab, and worked as a visited teacher in Shenzhen Primary School, teaching students of grade 5-6 fundamental French for one year. Ive also worked as an English teacher in an institution which focuses on studying English on the basis of authentic storybooks for half a year.
