I am an experienced teacher (10+ years in higher education) with a PhD in Linguistics from the University of Cambridge. I can assist with English at secondary and university level. I can also provide introductory and advanced tutoring in Linguistics. I am an experienced tutor with over ten years of experience in the education field in Hong Kong. I started out as a Calculus teaching assistant at Columbia University's Mathematics Department. I have briefly worked at the Edge as an admissions consultant and have been working as a private tutor in Chinese, Maths, and English for more than ten years. My students are mainly international school students in Hong Kong and top notch local school students within the DSE curriculum.

I am a graduate of HKU with a Bachelor of Laws（法律學士) and a PCLL. IELTS Overall Score：8.5 (Reading: 9; Listening: 9; Writing: 8.5; Speaking: 8) For high school, I attended an ESF school studying the International Baccalaureate (IB) Program. I achieved 40 points (including a 7 in IB English Language and Literature) in my IB exams. I also scored 4 A*s and 4As in the IGCSEs. I have experience tutoring students of different ages, abilities and backgrounds (including both international and local students). I also have years of English public speaking experience.

I am a 17 year old IB graduate, going to study at HKU under the Bachelor of Finance in Asset Management and Private Banking program, I am relatively patient, and strong communication skills to help and guide students to help with content understanding and problem solving.
