I am a 2025 HKDSE graduate, currently in HKU, with prior experience studying for the Chinese Gaokao before switching to HKDSE. I scored 7.5 in IELTS at age 16 (including 9.0 in Reading) through self‑study using AI tools and YouTube, applying comprehensive input, deliberate practice, and targeted exam techniques. Hi everyone, Let me introduce myself. My name is Yvonne, and I am an English-French bilingual from Montreal, Canada. I moved back and forth Montreal and Hong Kong for my studies, and after I achieved the Bachelor of Public Relations from University of Canberra, Australia in 2012, I started my teaching career at a Montessori center in Tsim Sha Tsui. Then, I moved on to working as a Teaching Assistant at secondary schools in Hong Kong. By 2016, I relocated to Stuttgart, Germany, where I freelanced as a language and cultural trainer till 2020 and studied German till the intermediate level (B2). In 2023, I came back to Hong Kong and went back to full-time work at a learning center as an Education Officer. In 2025, I worked part-time at a preschool/nursery, until I became a NET Teacher in 2026. As an experienced language and cultural teacher in teaching English, French and German who has taught in Canada, Germany and Hong Kong, I am now looking for private students, to whom I can teach English, French and/or German. I also have experience teaching Interview Skills and Public Speaking. While working at secondary schools in Hong Kong, I used to coach students for the annual Speech Festival.
