I graduated as an IB student from the UK in 2021. I can speak fluent British English as I grew up in Bath, UK. I can also speak fluent Cantonese, Mandarin and a bit of Spanish. I do Higher Level Economics, English and Chinese Literature. At Standard Level, I do Maths A&A, Biology and Geography. I have received scholarship offers from HKUST, HKU and CUHK, as well as UK universities. In the end, I achieved 40 points out of 45 for my IBDP. Over the course of my school life, I have tutored many students and have been highly commended by teachers. I specialise in exam skills, as I am a strategic learner. Hi, my name is Davis! I am a native english speaker and went to international school for both primary and secondary school so I am familiar with the syllabus/curriculum (e.g GCSE/IB). Additionally, I can also speak Cantonese and mandarin fluently! Before starting at HKU, I spent a year studying in the US at Ohio University where I majored in Aviation, so if there are any students out there interested in aviation I can teach some introductory topics too! Dear Sir / Madam, Even though I am a master’s student at The University of Manchester (UK), majoring in Nuclear Science and Technology, I wasn't good at studying from the very beginning. During my junior high school, I was a probational student achieving the worst grades possible. Until one day, a peer of mine gave me a speech and some skills which changed my whole attitude towards studying. From that point onwards, I was getting academic scholarships almost every single year. Having the skills to study is important but I would rather emphasize having the correct mindset (As most of the kids these days don't really know what they are studying for) One of my previous students managed to grind his way up from an average score of E to a B, after half a year of tutoring.
