My 25 years of experience in Chinese Chess had me realised one thing, that Chess is easy to learn but very hard to improve and even harder to improve more. I am familiar with all the 開局(open set), 中局(middle set) and 殺局(end game). Of course, a lot of 殘局 too. I have created a point scale system for every piece of chess, crossed river or not, using my point scale, we can see right away which side can win or which side cannot but a draw is possible.
