I am American Chinese although I presently reside in Ontario, Canada. I taught at a Canadian international school in Hong Kong for almost 20 years, and have gained many years of experience with children & adults of different needs, abilities and cultural backgrounds. I specialize in teaching phonics as well as low and intermediate level English, including listening, speaking (conversation), reading, and writing skills. I also taught ESL at the HK British Council and at various language schools and a Community College in California, USA. I have grown to love working with both children and adults and helping them grow and reach their potential in English learning.
