在2021年DSE，我分別在數學、M2、物理、化學和BAFS都奪得5**的成績，其中數學更是「45/45 + 105/105」的滿分佳績。 同年，我經JUPAS入讀香港中文大學數學精研課程，於21176789年在英屬哥倫比亞大學（UBC）交流，並在2025年以一級榮譽畢業（majorGPA 3.964/4.0）。 現時已被劍橋大學錄取，來年將前往英國修讀碩士（MASt in Pure Mathematics），深造數學內函。 我主要教授數學和M2，在大學的四年中，我曾教授不同種類、不同年紀、不同能力的學生： * 為近十多個學生補習數學、M2和物理，年級由中一至中六，大部分為高中學生，他們成績也有明顯進步 * ⁠於香港專業進修學校（HKCT）和職業訓練局（VTC）任教數學補底班 * ⁠於香港中文大學任教Enrichment Programme for Young Mathematics Talents（EPYMT）和First-Year Honour Stream（FYHS）課程，分別為有數學天分的中學生和大一數學系學生設計課程和教導 * ⁠於母校景嶺書院教導補底班和Pre-S1課程 此外，亦分別在2024和2025年在格陵蘭和蒙古做國際義工，其中也有義教的部分。 「學得好不等於教得好」。 本人在高中三年一直成績優異但未曾補習，因此自創了一套讀書哲學，對數學、物理尤其有心得，我強調理解知識本身多於考試技巧。若要讀好理科，必先理解從而穩固下限，然後再以技巧來推高考試上限。所以，我偏向先從理論入手，讓學生先有了知識背景再雕琢考試題目，當然若然學生時間趕急就另作別論。 另外，我不能說閱學生無數，但教學經驗也不少，由中一到成人、能力低到能力高，補底還是拔尖都有教授過，自問有能力因材施教。 In the 2021 DSE, I achieved a score of 5** in Mathematics, M2, Physics, Chemistry, and BAFS, with Mathematics receiving a perfect score of "45/45 + 105/105." That same year, I entered the Chinese University of Hong Kong to study Mathematics through JUPAS. In the 2221176789ademic year, I did an exchange at the University of British Columbia (UBC). I graduated with first-class honors in 2025 (major GPA 3.964/4.0). I have now been accepted into the University of Cambridge and will be studying for a master's degree (MASt in Pure Mathematics) in the UK next year, deepening my understanding of mathematics. I mainly teach Mathematics and M2. During my four years at university, I have taught students of various ages and abilities: - Tutored nearly a dozen students in Mathematics, M2, and Physics, ranging from Form 1 to Form 6, mostly high school students, who have shown significant improvement. - Taught Mathematics remedial classes at the Hong Kong College of Technology (HKCT) and the Vocational Training Council (VTC). - Instructed the Enrichment Programme for Young Mathematics Talents (EPYMT) and First-Year Honour Stream (FYHS) courses at the Chinese University of Hong Kong, designed for mathematically talented high school students and first-year mathematics students respectively. - Taught remedial classes and Pre-S1 courses at my alma mater, King Ling College. Additionally, I volunteered internationally in Greenland and Mongolia in 2024 and 2025 respectively, which included teaching as part of my service. "Good learning does not equate to good teaching." Throughout my three years in high school, I maintained excellent grades without any tutoring, which led me to develop my own study philosophy. I have particularly deep insights into mathematics and physics. I emphasize understanding the knowledge itself over exam techniques. To excel in the sciences, one must first grasp the fundamentals, then apply techniques to enhance exam performance. Therefore, I prefer to start with theory, providing students with a knowledge base before tackling exam questions; of course, if students are pressed for time, that is another matter. While I cannot claim to have taught countless students, I do have substantial teaching experience, having taught from Form 1 to adults and from low to high ability levels, both remedial and advanced. I believe I have the capability to tailor my teaching to meet individual needs.
