The best person to seek guidance from is the one who has ‘walked the walk’. This is what students need: a tutor who has recently gone through the same experience and succeeded. As a year 2 Civil Engineering PolyU student who recently came out of international A Level examinations with 3A*s and 1A, and 8A*s in O Levels before that, I believe I can fulfill this need. I have given the new digital SAT and scored 1520 (770 in Math and 750 in English). I have also won 3rd place nation-wide in the International Kangaroo Mathematics Contest. Moreover, I have had sufficient experience to experiment with my teaching techniques and develop the most effective strategies, among them is the Feynman Technique. I encourage my students to become the teacher in the last 10 mins of the session and teach me what they have learned. This cements their understanding. I am happy to provide notes, create structured prep plans, and prepare assignments for my students.
