Year 4 BBA student at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, majoring in Operations Management and Marketing. Native Cantonese speaker, fluent in English and Mandarin (PSC Level II, Grade A). I have three years' experience teaching STEM to upper primary students, leading classes of up to 25 on my own. Alongside that, I've worked at a tutoring centre doing one-to-one lessons and homework supervision, and taught a private one-to-one student over six months.I have take DSE twice, and at the end, I increase 4 marks to get into HKUST. My approach is concept first, drilling second. Most students who struggle with Maths or Chinese aren't lazy; they're missing one earlier step, and once you find it, the rest moves quickly. For Mandarin, I focus on the sounds Hong Kong students consistently find difficult and build in real conversation practice, so students can actually use the language rather than only pass an exam.
