My name is Wesuhuna Pearson. I am a licensed teacher from the United States. I am also a native New Yorker, with over 20 years of experience teaching English globally. As my resume details, I have lived and worked in 8 different countries. I am pleased to make your acquaintance. I began teaching when I was 10 years old at my parents’ after school center in New York. This is where I learned the work ethic I have now and to always to do an exemplary job. Over my career, I’ve taught Business English, grammar, pronunciation, public speaking—and have founded and managed companies across the Americas, Asia, Africa, and Europe. I would say that, by now, I am an expert in grammar. The style of teaching I have developed over the years is fun, dynamic and informative. We always use the target language. I have experience working with all levels from young learners in Kindergarten, to adults in the corporate field. My combined experience in education and world cultures gives me a unique perspective to deliver not just language learning, but real language competence, to young learners in a classroom setting. I now live in Hong Kong. Earlier in my career, I had the chance to live in China, specifically Shenzhen. Throughout my life, I have been a student and an enthusiast of Chinese culture.
