I am a mature female graduated from Macquarie University, Australia. I majored in French because I am interested in languages and familiar with IPA, French and English pronunciations, and phonics. And I have also been in France for five years and been studying French Language in ‘Universites de Nancy France’. During my study in Australia, I had been working as Children Sunday School Teacher Assistant in a Christian Church for 4 years (Teaching children aged 2-8 in English). I do cherish and enjoy such a precious experience and was usually a favorite with children since I taught them in a funny and interesting way with love and patient. Furthermore, I have gained a great deal of practical knowledge, know-how and skills in all aspects of child teaching. After coming back to Hong Kong, I have worked as French tutor at YMCA, English Composition tutor, After-School tutor in two primary schools, and private tutor for primary students from Diocesan Boys’ School, Yau Ma Tei Cath Pri Sch, etc. I prepare and design all the course notes and materials, especially various activities such as songs, games, and role play which can help children to enjoy and become familiar with the sounds of the English, and develop their abilities to communicate in English. They will thus become confident in speaking, understanding and reading English. The children do enjoy a lot and have made great progress. With my teaching experience especially my passion and vision for teaching children to further their knowledge of new language and culture, I think I am eligible for the job and can perform my duties quite well.
