Hello! This is Kennic. I'm a localborn Canadian. I have recently returned to Hong Kong. I have completed a BSc from Cardiff, and BArch and MArch (cum laude) at the Ecole Speciale d'Architecture (ESA) in Paris. As well as a diploma for advance French language and culture from the Institut Catholique de Paris. I have 10 years of experience working in schools/private tuition classes: St. George's School (Vancouver), PolyU HK, and ESA. I have taught students from age 5 to corporate executives. I'm a present Chinese teacher in Universities in Hong Kong. I have qualification and experience in teaching both Chinese and English. As a Chinese/Mandarin native speaker with strong Cantonese and English ability, I have been teaching Chinese for over 10years. I am currently a Bachelor of Arts undergraduate student that plan to major in English in University of Hong Kong. The bilingual education background that I have received in Singapore since primary school has honed on my capability to read, write, listen and speak English and Mandarin effectively. As such, I am able to teach English and Mandarin fluently. In addition, I have achieved grade B in GCE Mathematics A level Exam, grade A in GCE Mathematics O level Exam, Grade B in GCE Chinese A level Exam and grade A in GCE Chinese O level Exam. Given my excellent Mathematics and Chinese result, I am confident that I can guide my student along in problem solving and Chinese literacy skills. My work experience as a Student Care Teacher has helped to develop my skills in teaching and cultivating students in the field of academic. Hence, I am able to teach my student effectively.

英國回流，中英俱佳 -本人於英國修讀碩士學位，論文獲得榮譽成績（Distinction)。 -中學畢業於沙田區BAND 1英中沙田蘇浙公學畢業(F.1-6)。在HKDSE文憑試中的中,英文科皆獲得第5級成績，其中中文說話和英文閱讀卷皆取得最高5**級成績。 -IELTS成績為8.0／9，其中閱讀卷更得8.5/9。 -於本地大學就讀期間，曾為大學中文辯論隊隊員，有4年大專辯論經驗，並奪得2015大專辯論賽亞軍以及2016大專辯論賽冠軍。 -曾修讀翻譯證書課程，並獲A級成績。

For postgraduate education , I completed my Master degree in Computer Science, specializing in information security with the Hong Kong University. During the earlier time, I graduated with a double degree majoring in Finance and Information Systems from the University of Washington-Seattle, United States. I have taught in Operational Management, English, Mathematics, Economics and Japanese. Prior to being enrolled in the double degree programme of Hong Kong Polytechnic University, the degrees being Mechanical Engineering and Marketing, I completed my high school education in Canada and was admitted into Simon Fraser University's Psychology Honour Degree programme.
