Hi there, I’m Yanni. I recently graduated from the University of Manchester with a First-Class Honours in Drama (BA) and am working as a freelance theatre director in the UK. I previously studied at Sha Tin College (ESF) and have a proficiency in English, having attained a 7 in English Literature HL for IB and have consistently wrote First-Class analytical essays for my Drama degree at University. EXPERIENCE: - Previously employed at Meadow English Learning Centre as a part-time English tutor for 5 months. - Volunteered and taught English to secondary school (Form 4-5) students at a local school. Used fun methods to make the teaching experience more accessible, such as charades. (Christian Alliance Cheng Weng Gee College) - Spent 6 weeks working with children with learning disabilities at the Neighbourhood Action Advice Council Children Enlightenment Centre (NAACCEC). Lead the students through a variety of different activities, games to teach them fundamental English skills. - Worked with students aged 3-7 on a summer course which utilised drama techniques to teach English. Here, we did a production of 'Cinderella' and had a private showcase to parents at the end of the month. I have great experience writing/editing English essays or homework, having written First-Class and L7 English essays for my subjects.
