Academically, I have always been a very determined and studious individual, hence I want to spread my knowledge to the others. I have a broad interest in many disciplines yet I feel particularly drawn towards a tutor, as I am hugely fascinated by the complex and intriguing nature of the subject. I have always wanted to pursue a career in the field of all subjects. That subconsciously built my commercial sense and nurtured my enthusiasm in knowing more about HOW TO STUDY. ⅈI strongly believe that young people, as future leaders in society, should be all rounded. I always work doggedly in order to excel my value and be ready to contribute to society. I also understand from personal experience that a successful leader has to be visionary. In the past years, I joined a range of extracurricular activities, from which I got several chances to be lead of different school clubs and teams, including acting as my school’s Rope Skipping Team Chairperson, Home Economics Club Chairperson, Vice House Captain, Choir ViceChairperson, to name but a few. My offer as Vice House Captain was the most rewarding as it boosted my resourcefulness and adaptability especially during the time of Covid, when uncertainties arose. For example, we need to regularly review our progress and whether goals were met. At first I thought that may sound simple, but it is often one of the greatest challenges that teams and divisions face and it is truly contrary to my belief. ⅈOn the other hand, I have been fascinated with Rope Skipping since Primary school till now, yet formidable obstacles did train me up to be an impregnable person. One of the memorable competitions was the Rope Skipping Open Tournament, where I won the overall bronze medal. And I do understand the principle No Pain, No Gain. In order to train myself to be an undaunted person, recently, I have started learning Muay Thai. Not only have I trained up my selfdiscipline but also the skill of socializing with others, which are highly transferable traits to my hereafter. ⅈ As I have just finished my HKDSE, I can guarantee that I am familiar with the DSE syllabus and use the most effective and efficient way to encourage my students.
