My name is Isaac Chu Lai Him. I am currently 20 and graduated from IBDP in the UK last year in 2025. Currently, I am studying the Professional English Communication course at CUSCS. English has been the most important language in both my daily and academic life, largely due to my educational background, personal interest and the social circle I am part of. In terms of my personality and skills, I am patient and caring. The most important skill for me would be open-mindedness. Being open-minded to me is so important because it helps me understand others’ problems and enables me to offer them new sets of ideas and methods. Which I can link my skills together and effectively provide them to support the students. My personal achievements that were related to English are that I got 7.0 on my IELTS and I scored 5 on my IB English B HL. Regarding my teaching and tutoring experience, I have volunteered to teach and care in Pre-Prep and Junior schools in the UK as a student. I have also practised and helped my close relatives in English-related studies and homework. My personal advantage is that I am always a quick responder; for example, if the student has any questions related to English through WhatsApp, I would most certainly be available and respond immediately, and I have a huge passion and interest in communicating with others in English.
