Basic Information I hold a Master’s in Journalism degree with distinction from the University of Hong Kong in 2019, where my coursework was conducted entirely in English. With a professional background in journalism and editing experience at Bloomberg News, I bring strong communication skills and a structured approach to explaining complex ideas clearly. Academic & Professional Background My experience includes several years in international media, where I developed expertise in writing, critical thinking, and content analysis—skills I aim to pass on to students to help them improve both academically and practically. Teaching / Mentoring Experience While I have not formally tutored in an institutional setting, I have regularly mentored peers and guided junior learners in writing, comprehension, and analytical thinking. I am comfortable adapting my teaching style based on each student’s needs. Strengths I specialise in English language development, essay writing, and critical thinking. I also provide structured notes, editing feedback, and practical frameworks to help students improve quickly and confidently. My first attempt IELTS academic score was 8, and I can confidently help students prepare for that exam.
