My name is Diego Mariano. I am a Native English teacher here in Hong Kong. I have spent most of my life living here in Hong Kong, but I have a very internationalised background. I have lived in Manila, Singapore, Shanghai, and I did my university studies in the UK at the University of Sheffield, graduating with a Business Management degree back in 2019. Ever since 2021, I have been teaching English to children aged 3-16. I have experience in teaching phonics, grammar, speaking, writing, Cambridge (Starters-PET) and Trinity Grades 1-4. I enjoy teaching children of all ages. I am patient, kind and I am known for being able to easily get along with children. All my years of experience of teaching English here in Hong Kong has given me the skill of being able to quickly identify a child’s learning needs. It has also helped me familiarise myself to the English curriculum here in Hong Kong, specifically the primary school and kindergarten curriculum. I look forward to meeting and being able to enrich your child’s English abilities.
