My teaching methodology is all about creating a personalized and interactive experience for each student. I understand that everyone learns differently, so I make it a priority to adapt my approach to fit individual styles. I love to keep lessons engaging by using a mix of multimedia resources, hands-on activities, and real-world examples. This way, the material feels relevant and relatable, helping students stay interested and involved. Encouraging critical thinking is also a big part of my teaching. I want my students to feel comfortable asking questions and exploring the material deeply, rather than just memorizing facts. I believe that learning should be a journey of discovery. I also emphasize a growth mindset, celebrating progress and helping students learn from their mistakes. This approach builds resilience and confidence, which are essential for success. Regular feedback is key, and I make sure to offer constructive insights while encouraging self-reflection. This helps students recognize their strengths and identify areas for improvement. I have just retired from my over-30-years career life in electronic engineering field and is now working as a private tutor. During my career life, I also worked as a part-time tutor in my friend's tuition centre and private tutor occassionally. Hi everyone, Let me introduce myself. My name is Yvonne, and I am an English-French bilingual from Montreal, Canada. I moved back and forth Montreal and Hong Kong for my studies, and after I achieved the Bachelor of Public Relations from University of Canberra, Australia in 2012, I started my teaching career at a Montessori center in Tsim Sha Tsui. Then, I moved on to working as a Teaching Assistant at secondary schools in Hong Kong. By 2016, I relocated to Stuttgart, Germany, where I freelanced as a language and cultural trainer till 2020 and studied German till the intermediate level (B2). In 2023, I came back to Hong Kong and went back to full-time work at a learning center as an Education Officer. In 2025, I worked part-time at a preschool/nursery, until I became a NET Teacher in 2026.
