Greetings. My name is Jefferson, and I am a native English speaker and engineering graduate from the University of California, San Diego — ranked 19th globally, according to the Academic Ranking of World Universities (ARWU). I am also an honorary alumni from the University of Cambridge in England, having previously studied in the Year Abroad Programme at Pembroke College. My primary areas of expertise for tutoring include English language, Maths, Physics, World History, Literature, and French. 我有近十年私人教授學生經驗，對於法語學習及教育非常熱衷，(2013年）自學三個月後以95分（滿分為100分）考獲法語國際水平試A1資格，後來到瑞士洛桑大學修讀一年法語加強文課程 (2015年），2016年便考取法語國際水平試C1資格，能以流利法文與瑞士人及法國人溝通與交流。我很希望能認識香港有興趣學習法語的朋友，把我所學傳授給更多人。

Born in Hong Kong in 1987, I immigrated to Montreal, Canada, after completing Kindergarten at Mun Sang College. <br><br>Between 1993 and 2006, I acquired native French and English.<br><br>Today, I have resettled in Hong Kong to tutor as I wait for University to start in September 2008.

本人為兩孩之母，兼職補習教琴和法文，明白小學生心態，也有成人學生。於香港中文大學專業會系畢業，曾在美國和法國留學，中學會考成績5A3B，考獲鋼琴ABRSM Advanced Certificate和法文DELF B2證書。學生來自男拔萃，聖瑪利，英基，啟思，基法油塘以及在職和退休人士等，上我課後都考獲理想成績。 As a mother of two, I am working part-time to give tutorial classes as well as French and Piano lessons for adults and children. Graduated from the Chinese University of Hong Kong, I also studied in the USA and France. I got ABRSM Piano Advanced Certificate and French DELF B2 Level. My students from DBS, St. Mary's, ESF, Creative, etc. achieved excellent results after my lessons.

I studied English for Professional Communications in the university which provides me with a great knowledge of English usage and versatile skills of English interpersonal communication. Among all, speaking English is my greatest interest. I was born and raised in Hong Kong but my nationality is UK and most of my friends speak English which implies English has become my daily language. Besides, I do have strong passion in teaching students of Oral English. I believe that my patience and responsibility will definitely impress you. Besides, I would like to apply for 'Part-time French teacher'. I always have a strong passion in French. I have lived in a host family in Paris for six months. Most importantly, I taught in secondary school for basic French from 2010 to 2011(part-time). I had experience in doing so.

I completed my high school and university education in Montreal, Canada, graduating from McGill University, which holds a QS global ranking of 27th. I am a TESOL-certified ESL teacher with 14 years of experience in tutoring English. My strength lies in helping students significantly improve their English skills within a 3 to 6-month period. For instance, one student who scored 68% in their first-term final exam improved to 86% after just two months of tutoring. Another student faced challenges due to a significant knowledge gap between the Chinese primary school system and the English secondary school curriculum. Initially, she scored only in the low 10s on her first test; after three months of tutoring, her score increased to the 30s, and she achieved over 50 after nine months.
