I am a 22 year old Architecture graduate from The University of Hong Kong, currently pursuing a Master's degree. I am the most comfortable teaching fully in english and I am patient in my teaching style. I have a unique way of understanding problems and teaching, using visual materials so that students can visualize what they are learning. My grades in IGCSE and IBDP (37/45) are best in English, Visual Arts, and History, although I can also teach any other subject related to design and Architecture. I have 1 year of tutoring experience, where I taught an Architecture workshop to primary school students during the school semester. I am a passionate tutor keen to share my experience and knowledge in IB and SAT exams, as well as general English writing and literature to primary and secondary students in Hong Kong. I graduated from Yale University in 2019 with Distinction in History and took classes on a wide range of humanities and arts topics, such as “Reading and Writing the Modern Essay” and “European Intellectual History Since Nietzsche”. I have also worked in various research, education, and administrative roles since graduating. I have had extensive experience in education, having served as a mentor and teacher at various youth centres in Hong Kong, including the Unison HK and Boys’ and Girls’ Club Association of Hong Kong in Tsz Wan Shan. After university, I worked for a tutoring company in the U.S. and taught both individual and group classes in the subjects of Essay Writing and English Literature for students based in mainland China.
