I am Dr. Lars Thomsen, a passionate computational physicist with a Ph.D. in Astrophysics from the University of Hong Kong and a Master’s from the University of Copenhagen. Inspired by exceptional teachers who integrated technology into science through simulations and data analysis, I have developed a love for using programming and mathematics to solve complex problems. Currently, I work part-time as a senior research assistant at the University of Hong Kong, where I study how black holes devour stars and mentor undergraduate and graduate students in their research projects.
