I am a 24-year old University graduate in Mathematics, studying overseas in Canada at the University of British Columbia, and in Singapore at the National University of Singapore (all taught in English). I have experience with tutoring international students in a patient and empathetic manner. As a product of my studies and experiences, I have a strong sense of breaking complex problems down into simple and comprehensible components, and I am eager to share these skills with students. I have maintained a place on the Dean's Honour List for academic excellence in my university studies, and have participated in informal private tutoring programmes to apply what I’ve learned in a constructive way for others. Eager to aid students in the most effective way I can, I am happy to provide those I tutor with additional support; including answering WhatsApp questions, writing quizzes and tests myself and evaluating students' progress with them.
