About me: I am a IB student (class of 2025) studying at Sha Tin College. I am taking the Bilingual Diploma and am fluent in Cantonese, Chinese and English (speaking, reading, writing, listening). I am very patient and have been tutoring MYP and IGCSE students at school for a year now. Academics: I achieved 9A* in IGCSEs and am predicted 43/45 for IB, so I am confident in my ability in explaining concepts and teaching exam techniques. Additional information: I have my own set of study notes that I use to tutor my students and I have great communication and critical thinking skills. I was a part of Model United Nations, Student Council, and was the President of a Joint School Association. I am a 19-year-old IB graduate currently studying Psychology and English at HKU. I graduated high school with the International Baccalaureate(IB) bilingual diploma and received a final grade of 42 out of 45. I am currently studying the Bachelor of Physiotherapy at PolyU. I have 3 years experience in tutoring IB, IGCSE and AP Biology. I achieved a grade of 7/7 for Biology and Chemistry Higher Level and Maths AASL in my IB exam. I was also awarded the overall academic scholarship in high school. I competed in a Biological Health Exhibition Competition held by CUHK Faculty of Medicine and received first place. My personal experience on IB and IGCSE enables me to better understand my student’s learning progress and difficulties. I will make my lessons interactive, and explain the content to my students in the simplest way possible to facilitate understanding.
