For postgraduate education , I completed my Master degree in Computer Science, specializing in information security with the Hong Kong University. During the earlier time, I graduated with a double degree majoring in Finance and Information Systems from the University of Washington-Seattle, United States. I have taught in Operational Management, English, Mathematics, Economics and Japanese. Ever since a kid, I have been studying in famous schools, for instance Sheng Kung Hui Kindergarten Hong Kong, St. Francis Cannossian School and College, St. Paul’s Convent School (Secondary Section), St. Paul’s Secondary School, St. Paul’s Co-educational College, Island School, University of Washington—one of the top 10 Business Schools in the United States and Hong Kong University—the top University in Hong Kong. Having worked for the Yahoo Inc., migrated to the United States for more than 11 years, taught in the university and studied in top schools; I have become a native English speaker and strategic teacher, who can innovatively work well with students to ace the quizzes, assessments, tests and exams. In DSE, I achieved 5 with an asterisk in English overall, both my writing and speaking papers got 5 with a double asterisk. I also possess a CertTESOL, a widely recognised English teaching course. I am currently a Bachelor of Arts undergraduate student that plan to major in English in University of Hong Kong. The bilingual education background that I have received in Singapore since primary school has honed on my capability to read, write, listen and speak English and Mandarin effectively. As such, I am able to teach English and Mandarin fluently. In addition, I have achieved grade B in GCE Mathematics A level Exam, grade A in GCE Mathematics O level Exam, Grade B in GCE Chinese A level Exam and grade A in GCE Chinese O level Exam. Given my excellent Mathematics and Chinese result, I am confident that I can guide my student along in problem solving and Chinese literacy skills. My work experience as a Student Care Teacher has helped to develop my skills in teaching and cultivating students in the field of academic. Hence, I am able to teach my student effectively.
