I concluded my 12 years overseas education with a First Class BA (Hons) in Architecture, and completed my Master’s Degree with a Distinction in Architecture. Additionally, I obtained A*AA during my ALevels in UK, and attained 4A* & 5A at GCSEs in both science and humanities subjects. Aside from my academic background, I acquired Grade 8 Violin with distinction from ABRSM, participated in multiple swimming competitions, and have a strong background in Art. I am a passionate individual with experiences primarily in tutoring First Year University students. With a strong background in English, I am able to coach students in improving their writing, listening, reading, and oral skills. I enjoy teaching students from all academic backgrounds as well as academic abilities. Alongside tutoring, I strive to aid students to develop their confidence both academically and socially. As a patient and caring person, I aspire to support students in developing critical thinking, which is vital in comprehending complex information at a deep level, as opposed to memorising model answers. Having more than 15 years of experience, he completed literature including Galamian《Principles Of Violin Playing And Teaching》, Yankelevich《On Violin Teaching and Performance》, Fux《The Study of Counterpoint》ｰand Schoenberg《Theory Of Harmony》ｰhis students have obtained great results in music festival, Graded exam and orchestra audition. Lau has been playing violin since his youth, received early studying from Mr. Martin Chow, and studied advanced tone production and violin making with Mr. Danny Chan, later on following Italian Violinist Gian Paolo Peloso to study various advanced techniques and pedagogy by Igor Ozim. Composition, conducting and other instruments are also his scope of study beside violin. Lau is currently first violinist ensemble violinist in HKMPO and GBA Phil, being active in various orchestra these years: Millennium Youth Orchestra(MYO), Shatin Philharmonic Orchestra(SPO), HKPUSUO, UPOHKU etc.. Lau frequently participates in solo, orchestra and quartet performances, and was invited to play as first violinist in Mr. Jimmy Chiang Viennese conducting masterclass in 2018. 你好，我現在就讀東華學院護理學系，畢業於沙田崇真中學，已考獲小提琴鋼琴八級和樂理五級(distinction) 本人有在補習社功課輔導小學生和在琴行教琴的經驗。主要兼職教授小提琴和小學生功課輔導。有耐心責任心，可上門教學，希望學生開心快樂地學習。
