As a graduated student from University of California, Berkeley, I have years of teaching experience (mainly in music, piano, Chinese Instrument GuZheng, Music Theory, mathematics, English, Mandarin, business applications and professional accountancy; local and overseas students from the 3-50 range) in individual and group. I am in depth interest to teaching, sharing and spreading out the joyful learning to my students. I prefer to have customized teaching method for each student, aim to understand students' needs and fulfilling their goals while enhance their skills and knowledge with fun learning experiences. I had started my music study during young age and continue to discover Chinese traditional instrument GuZheng and Accordiar, had received numerous awards and had great experiences in performances, including recording at Hong Kong TVB, music enrichment activities in local community, exchange program and concerts at Malaysia, Singapore, South Korea, Taiwan, Beijing and the United States. During my study years in the United States, I was often nvited to campus for performances throughout, for example, the International Day and shuttle interactive exchange of summit and other Chinese Embassy Consular solo. I also hold seminars, exchanges and other performance in schools and universities in both Hong Kong and the United States. During my study at the U.S., I have served as assistant professor, student assistants, and school mathematics and accounting department tutors, providing different levels of individual and group tutoring to help students of different level and needs. I also tutor Chinese and English to foreign student by applying interactive teaching method such as lively drama and conversation to children and adults, with games, exercises, dialogues, role-playing and other forms of language to enhance the students' interest and awareness, and also to improve their listening literacy levels. I am currently an exchange student at the City University of Hong Kong. My home institution is Nanyang Technological University (Singapore) where I am a University Scholar and in my last semester, I was an exchange student at the University of Pennsylvania (USA) where I studied at and wrote for the Wharton School. I first started giving tuition seven years ago and now see it as a hobby rather than a job where I can relate my experiences and lessons as a student to a student.
