I am a 2024 IB graduate from Island School ESF. I received a score of 43 out of 45 and I am currently studying for a Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Commerce at the University of Sydney. I received a level 7 for English HL and a level 6 for History HL. I have taught younger students at school in afterschool clubs and I am currently a tutor on Preply and Superprof.

I am a 22 year old Architecture graduate from The University of Hong Kong, currently pursuing a Master's degree. I am the most comfortable teaching fully in english and I am patient in my teaching style. I have a unique way of understanding problems and teaching, using visual materials so that students can visualize what they are learning. My grades in IGCSE and IBDP (37/45) are best in English, Visual Arts, and History, although I can also teach any other subject related to design and Architecture. I have 1 year of tutoring experience, where I taught an Architecture workshop to primary school students during the school semester. With this experience, I have also created notes, learning materials, and unique lesson plans tailored to fit the student.

Hi, I’m Dhruv, a final-year student at HKUST. My aim is to help students understand what they’re learning. My teaching style focuses on making complex ideas feel simple and approachable. I will guide students in breaking down challenging topics into clear, manageable steps and help them establish a mental framework to approach similar problems confidently in the future. When students are unsure about a process or concept, I walk them through it step by step, explaining not just how to solve it but why each step matters. This approach helps them not only to understand how the process is to be completed but also the reasoning behind why we should take that step towards achieving the desired goal.

I am a 24-year old University graduate in Mathematics, studying overseas in Canada at the University of British Columbia, and in Singapore at the National University of Singapore (all taught in English). I have experience with tutoring international students in a patient and empathetic manner. As a product of my studies and experiences, I have a strong sense of breaking complex problems down into simple and comprehensible components, and I am eager to share these skills with students. I have maintained a place on the Dean's Honour List for academic excellence in my university studies, and have participated in informal private tutoring programmes to apply what I’ve learned in a constructive way for others.
