My name is Natalie, and as a recent graduate of King George V School, I will be studying Medicine/Dentistry in Australia. Now the assumption that most make when they hear I’m doing Medicine is that I’m intimidating and intelligent, but believe it or not, I love kids! From organizing English play stations at Tsung Tsin Kindergarten and Farm Road Primary School, to private tutoring offered to students from Primary to Secondary level, as well as currently teaching (part-time) HKDSE English at Ching Kok Secondary School, I base my work on helping students develop a right mindset, work ethic, and setting the foundations needed to excel in their studies. Freshly out of high school and the hectic years of IGCSE and IB, I am all too familiar with the difficulty of juggling various responsibilities, extra-curricular and other commitments that are important to me. During my senior years, I was privileged to be the Head Girl of King George V School, member of the School Council, External Communications and Relations Committee as well as Vice-chairperson of KGV UNICEF, in addition to being part of the Cheerleading, Hockey and Volleyball Team – I believe it is my love for all-rounded education that has shaped me into the efficient and organized tutor I am today. Having obtained 9A* and 1A for IGCSE’s, and an IB predicted of 44/45, I am happy to offer any help for the following subjects: Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics, English, Mandarin, Geography and Food Technology. From helping you fulfill study objectives, to providing notes/resources (if applicable), my aim is to grill you until concepts are cemented in your memory and your understanding of the content has surpassed that of your classroom peers. What\'s more, I have always endeavored to be a tutor who encourages you to share, ask questions and even challenge ideas. I would also love to help teach/play with younger children (having volunteered in the Pediatric Ward at Baptist Hospital and worked with students studying in Kindergarten and Primary School), and to make my teaching methods relatable so that it is equal work and equal entertaining. After graduation, I worked as teaching assistant in the University of Melbourne and also tutored a number of high school and university students from Australia, Hong Kong and China. I have more than ten years of experience in coaching HSC/IB/GCSE/A-Level/DSE students, and also biomedical and elementary chemistry subjects in University level. Hi everyone! I'm Ernest Tsoi (20), a Year 4 Biomedical Sciences (BBMSc) Major, English Studies (ES) Minor currently studying in HKU. I've also been accepted in a coveted joint university programme with USydney for a Masters in Physiotherapy. I took the IB back in 2018 and achieved 44/45 for the following subjects: 3 Higher Levels in Biology, Economics, Chinese B; and 3 Standard Levels in Chemistry, English and Mathematics. Prior to the IB, I've also studied the IGCSEs and have had experience tutoring in both areas. I'm comfortable with tutoring the following subjects: Biology, English and Economics, for students of all ages.
