As a speaker of four languages: Mandarin, Cantonese, English and Spanish, my career aspiration has always been helping others to achieve intercultural understanding by working as Spanish teacher and interpreter. I have had tutoring experience for a 12 yearold child on IGCSE Spanish and I am living in Causeway Bay. I am currently working in Bradbury school ESF as an educational assistant which exposed me to global citizenship education from a prominent international school in a multicultural context, where I support students with individual needs. I have also worked in 21st Century learning international, a company that features in technology for education, where I improve my IT skills for education. In my degree as Master of Education, I learnt to analyse education and development in a comparative way. With my experiences in language teaching, interpretation and oversea education in Granada, Spain, I have been able to develop an unique and effective pedagogy to Spanish learning for A1 level students. I also attended seminars and workshops organized by HKU to enhance my understanding on current teaching methods. I have also become an examiner for the DELE (official Spanish proficiency test) level A1, A2, which enables me to familiarize with the assessment details and cater for individual learning needs. I am a proactive learner with 3.9/4 GPA in my undergraduate studies and 3.43/4 GPA in my master degree. My IELTS grades are: Listening 7.5, Reading 7.5, Writing 6.0, Speaking 8.0, overall brand score: 7.5. I also obtained two reference letters from my Professors of translation and interpretation in Spain.ǀI believe my education background in the University of Granada with the best ranking in Translation and interpretation Studies in Spain and in Hong Kong will make me a wellprepared candidate to provide highquality programmes in multiple areas.ǀ
