I am currently chemistry PhD student at Northeastern University with extensive experience in both tutoring and classroom instruction. I graduated from the Chinese International School in Hong Kong with a perfect International Baccalaureate (IB) score of 45/45. My Higher Level subjects were Chemistry, Chinese B, and Visual Arts, while my Standard Level subjects were English Literature, Mathematics: Analysis and Approaches, and Psychology. I recently graduated magna cum laude with honors in Chemistry from Wesleyan University and am currently pursuing a fully funded PhD in Chemistry at Northeastern University. My academic background has given me a strong foundation in chemistry, mathematics, and scientific problem-solving, as well as a deep understanding of the challenges students face in rigorous academic programs. Since 2022, I have worked as a private tutor, helping students build confidence, strengthen their understanding of course material, and achieve their academic goals. In addition, I have four years of teaching experience at the college level, including two years as an Organic Chemistry Teaching Assistant at Wesleyan University. In this role, I led review sessions, held office hours, and worked closely with students to develop effective study strategies and problem-solving skills.
