I'm Sunny, and I'm passionate about helping students build confidence in learning English and achieve their goals. Coming from a grassroots school background, I completely understand that starting out with a new language isn't always easy. I initially scored a Level 2 in DSE English, but through hard work, I earned a place to study Psychology at the Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) and achieved an overall band score of 6.5 in IELTS (equivalent to DSE Level 4). This personal journey has given me a deep empathy for the struggles and frustrations students face when learning English. Over the two years since I graduated, I've worked in the education sector, going directly into grassroots school classrooms to teach English in an interactive and engaging way. This experience has shown me that with the right approach, any student can overcome their fear of learning English and find joy in the process.
