Tutor Num171125

I am currently studying Journalism and Media & AI at the University of Hong Kong (HKU), alongside business-related studies. As a Shanghai American School graduate, I scored 1550 on the SAT and earned 5s in AP Chemistry, AP U.S. History, AP English Language, AP Precalculus, and AP Seminar. I am fluent in English and Korean, with strong conversational skills in both languages. Beyond academics, I am a multi-instrumentalist with experience in acoustic and electric guitar, drums, bass, and music theory. I have tutored students in Shanghai in SAT and AP subjects, provided guitar lessons to children, and helped my younger brother, a current Class of 2027 student. I can also assist with university applications, college counseling, and essay writing. As a tutor, I am patient, approachable, and adaptable. I focus on breaking down difficult concepts, building students' confidence, and tailoring lessons to individual learning styles. My international education background and experience across academics and music help me connect with students and make learning both effective and enjoyable.
