IELTS 8.0 | SAT 1500 | City University of Hong Kong Student Hi! I’m Ivan, a first-year student at City University of Hong Kong, originally from Kazakhstan. I achieved IELTS 8.0 and SAT 1500, and I’m currently pursuing my university degree entirely in English. I have 8 years experience in speaking English. Having recently prepared for these exams myself, I understand the challenges students face — from managing exam pressure to identifying weaknesses and improving their scores. How I can help you: • IELTS Preparation — Speaking, Writing, Reading and Listening strategies, practice and detailed feedback. • SAT Preparation — Math, Reading and Writing, problem-solving techniques and exam strategies. • English Speaking — Build confidence, improve fluency and develop natural communication skills. • Academic Writing — Improve structure, clarity, grammar and vocabulary. • General English — Personalized lessons based on your current level and goals. Why study with me? Recent exam experience. I’ve been through the same preparation process and know which strategies helped me achieve strong results. Personalized approach. I believe effective learning starts with understanding each student’s strengths, weaknesses and goals. Attention to detail. Small mistakes can make a big difference in exams. I’ll help you identify them, understand why they happen and learn how to avoid them. Multilingual background. I speak English, Russian and Kazakh, so I understand the challenges of learning and communicating in another language. My teaching approach I aim to make every lesson practical, structured and engaging. Rather than simply giving you answers, I want to help you understand the reasoning behind them and become a more confident, independent learner. Whether you’re preparing for an important exam or simply want to improve your English, I’d be happy to help. Feel free to message me and tell me about your goals. Let’s build a study plan that works for you!
