Hi, I am Mark. I recently graduated from Ithaca College with a Bachelor of Science, and now I am back in Hong Kong on my extended summer break. While extremely flexible on the content of tutoring sessions depending on the needs and urgency of my students, I tend to focus on conversational English through verbal interactions, and various media, as there simply is no better way to learn a language. My American friends often said I have an ingenious British accent, while English people I met often guess that I am from New York. But the fact of the matter is, I went to a local school in Hong Kong until 4 years ago when I departed to the States to study music, and later communications. I understand the struggle. I am definitely not claiming that you can speak like Gordon Ramsay after a couple months of tutoring under my guidance, but I can promise you an environment favorable to understanding, familiarizing, and getting comfortable with interacting in English. It matters not that you get good grades but can\\\'t seem to converse with native speakers efficiently, can read but cannot speak to save your life, cannot grasp the idea of grammar, or just utter shite with the language. We are all born to learn languages, some just need a little nudge.
