My name is Dani, 20 years old, studying Aeronautical and Aviation Engineering in the Hong Kong Polytechnic University. I have loved teaching from a young age having been brought up by my parents who are both teachers. I would consider myself to be a calm, patient teacher but with an edge of strictness. I prefer to reinforce and teach interactively using questions to practice and grasp concepts. I also, provide notes for reference and learning, and in addition to that I have topical questions to test each concept and effectively solve the issues for each student tailormade. Currently Deans Honors Awardee for 2022/2023. I have always loved to challenge myself and expand my problem solving skills: 1. International Mathematics Olympiadist in 2021 2. National Mathematics Olympiad Gold and Silver Medalist for the years 2020 and 2021 respectively. Relating to my Academic Background, I studied: 1. Cambridge International AS and A Levels (6A*): Pure Mathematics A* (Including Statistics and Mechanics), Physics A*, Chemistry A*, Biology A*, Computer Science A* and Accounting A*. 2. Cambridge International IGCSE (9A* and 1A): Extended Mathematics A*, Additional Mathematics A*, ICT A*, French A*, Physics A*, Chemistry A*, Biology A*, Computer Science A*, English A* and Accounting A*. Cambridge Top in the Country for IGCSE Biology and Computer Science 3. IELTS 8.0 and SAT 1500/1600. For previous teaching experience I have worked as a private tutor during the year of 2021 teaching STEM in Macro tutoring services. Also, I served as Voluntary English Teacher during 2024 in Cambodia. I am now currently working as a part time English and Mathematics Tutor in Kumon.
