After graduation, I worked as teaching assistant in the University of Melbourne and also tutored a number of high school and university students from Australia, Hong Kong and China. My name is Charmaine. Although I was born in HK, I moved to Beijing at the age of 12 and attended international school since. I am therefore fluent in English, Mandarin and Cantonese. I began tutoring since high school. I was a one-to-one tutor on various subjects, teacher assistant for language classes, and an English teacher at local primary schools. After completing the IB Bilingual Diploma, I earned a BFA in UBC. After that, I taught in multiple local primary and secondary schools as a native English teacher, but also took on other private tutor cases on other subjects.
