I graduated from Renaissance College (international school) with an IB diploma (HL subjects: English A1, Mandarin B, Theatre/ SL subjects: Math Studies, Psychology, Biology). I'm now a year one student at HKU with a major in English Studies and classes in Psychology. I have had training in counselling peers and serviced my secondary school for 3 years. Hi! My name is Heesoo from South Korea. I was born in Korea but I grew up in India where I have spent more than half of my life. I can speak in 4 different languages including Kroean, English, Spanish, and Hindi. I am currently Studying in Marketing at Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. During my high school and middle school, I have also completed the IGCSE and IB courses for subjects including English HL, Business Management HL, Economics HL, Environmental Studies SL, Spanish SL, and Maths SL! 本人現於英國修讀獸醫學，中學修讀國際文憑(IB)以41/45分畢業。過往曾於泰國、中國內地、台灣等地擔任義工，由英語、功課輔導到興趣班都能得心應手。另外，本人以獎勵及鼓勵為教學理念，希望為學生培養對知識的興趣及學習的熱誠。

I am fluent in English, Cantonese and Mandarin, and can hold lessons in any language mentioned. I studied overseas in the US for 3 years, took the rigorous IB program (40/45), have experience tutoring K12 children for around 2 years, and have started a gifted tutoring program for children which trained them to participate in Math Olympiads.

I am Jonathan, I am currently a year 3 undergraduate student studying Chinese Medicine at the University of Hong Kong. Previously, I studied in a full english learning and teaching environment at an International School for 9years (from 4th to 12th grade) and achieved a final grade of 6 in IB, thus I consider English as my first language. With my fluent English, I am confident to provide full English teaching and English essay editing for my students. Furthermore, I am fluent in Chinese and Cantonese. In addition, I am more than capable to tutor Biology as I achieved a final grade of 7 in IB Biology HL and I am also currently studying Medicine in University. Last but not least, I have the patience and passion for teaching, as well as tutoring experience with children ranging from 5 year old to 18 year old.

I graduated high school with the International Baccalaureate(IB) bilingual diploma and received a final grade of 42 out of 45. I am currently studying the Bachelor of Physiotherapy at PolyU. I have 3 years experience in tutoring IB, IGCSE and AP Biology. I achieved a grade of 7/7 for Biology and Chemistry Higher Level and Maths AASL in my IB exam. I was also awarded the overall academic scholarship in high school. I competed in a Biological Health Exhibition Competition held by CUHK Faculty of Medicine and received first place. My personal experience on IB and IGCSE enables me to better understand my student’s learning progress and difficulties. I will make my lessons interactive, and explain the content to my students in the simplest way possible to facilitate understanding. I will also teach my students the content with real world examples to facilitate better knowledge application and hence exam techniques. I will adjust my teaching style according to my student’s needs and design personalized learning programs for my students to enhance their learning experience and grades. I hope to approach my students in a friendly manner so they would feel comfortable to reach out to me whenever they have any questions or feel confused about the subject content.
