I am currently a Year Two Electrical and Electronic Engineering Student studying at the University of Nottingham. I come from a technical background with a strong interest in programming and electronics. During my last internship with TownGas, I was honored to participate in an underground piping project which encouraged me to gain further insight into China’s piping network. By being a part in the team, I have learned various ways of digital monitor techniques for underground pipes and several integrated methods to maintain the quality of piping. I was able to appreciate how engineers can play an active role in alleviating environmental concerns in highly urbanized cities, such as adapting to extreme weather systems, including earthquakes. I did IGCSE in middle school and IB in highschool and got 37/45; taking HL Math, HL Physics, HL Economics and SL Film studies, SL English and SL Chinese. I graduated with a Master's degree in Civil Engineering from Imperial College London in June 2023 with First Class Honours. Prior to that, I achieved 3A*s and 1A in Maths, Further Maths, Chemistry and Physics respectively in my A-levels. Additionally, I scored a 7.5/9.0 in the IELTS exam. Through my teaching experience, I have successfully tutored Alevel Maths and Further Maths to a student who is currently excelling in their degree program at Imperial College London.
