I am currently a Year Two Electrical and Electronic Engineering Student studying at the University of Nottingham. I come from a technical background with a strong interest in programming and electronics. During my last internship with TownGas, I was honored to participate in an underground piping project which encouraged me to gain further insight into China’s piping network. By being a part in the team, I have learned various ways of digital monitor techniques for underground pipes and several integrated methods to maintain the quality of piping. I was able to appreciate how engineers can play an active role in alleviating environmental concerns in highly urbanized cities, such as adapting to extreme weather systems, including earthquakes. I am currently studying computer science with business management in HKUST. Previously, I studied IB in Li Po Chun United World College, and finished IGCSE in Singapore International School. I have achieved third in grade in Singapore International School, and have been strong in the field of mathematics and sciences, achieving A* in normal/ accelerated mathematics and physics, as well 800/800 for SAT Level II Math and 790/800 for SAT Physics. Besides making sure that the theory is understood, my teaching will also have heavy emphasis on the tips and tricks for exams that I personally tried and tested. They will consist of, but not limited to: calculator usage, decoding the question and looking for patterns between exams, etc. I will conduct all lessons in English, although I can speak cantonese and mandarin.
