Hi all,<br><br>I studied at the prestigious Marymount Primary and Secondary School until I was 15 then my family moved to London where I have been living for the last 10 years. I got a 2.1 in my degree and have been traveling within Europe for my work so I would say I am pretty much a native English speaker who can still talk fluently in Cantonese. I am super passionate so my lessons will NOT be boring. I will teach you more than grammar; there will be role plays, exercises and games. I am here for the summer so hopefully can teach someone an intensive course in English with lots of useful notes.

I am Sunena Kharbanda from India. I have currently completed my Year 1 in HKUST. I am an engineering student & my major is Computer Science & Engineering. I have a strong hold over the subjects of English, Science (Physics, Chemistry, Biology) & Mathematics.

本人畢業於Band 1A傳統女名校及城市大學英文系(副修翻譯)。擁有近10年補習經驗(中小學英文及英國文學)，包括本地及內地生。中學時候英國文學成績多為Top25% (i.e. Top 5)。曾得到BU English Language & Literature and English Language Teaching (Double Degree)的offer，但沒有選擇入讀。後來在大學修讀英文系期間對英國文學有作學術研究， Essay一直得到好評分。除英國文學，大學課程亦深入探討Corporate and Professional Communication，因此對於希望提升英文程度的成人來說，我能夠教授有關職場的英語。 本人不但專攻課程內容，亦注重writing skills。曾多次為學生準備呈分試及DSE，平日亦能夠為學生「補底」。英國文學科的學生來自SCGS, YWGS, HYS, SPCS, SPSLT, MCS, GHS, HFCC, SMS, SPKC & SRLS，亦會為學生的英國文學SBA給予意見、進行修改。有耐性，大學期間的暑假曾到發展中國家義教，亦曾參與其他交流團。懂得與學生相處、溝通。

I am Ethel. I have gone abroad to UK for my sixth form which have broaden my horizon for my style of learning and my English speaking. So I hope when I teach, I truly want students to fully understand the concept and raise their when dealing difficulties with their problems or concern to be raised. I have a lot of extra curricular activities and interests such as dancing, drama and so on which would probably be easier to interact with them either using English or Chinese, and they will be able to learn more effectively besides books when they lose concentration during lessons.
