Elly received her Bachelor of Music degree in the U.K. in 2017 with first-class honour and completed her master degree in Piano Studies with distinction at University of York. During her undergraduate studies, Elly received performance scholarship from the School of Music. At the end of second year and final year, she was twice awarded the School of Music’s Overall Achievement Prize for the highest marks of her year. In her final year of undergraduate study, she has been awarded The Eric Morris Memorial Prize for Performance in which she was awarded the highest mark among all the final-year recitalists. She was also the recipient of Dr John Robert Jones Prize in 2017, which is awarded annually to a student whose academic performance is judged to have been particularly excellent and is considered as the Universitys most prestigious prize. ​ Apart from being an active performer, she is also an experienced and patient piano and music theory teacher who customises lesson plans to fit individual learning styles of students, along with passion. She have taught students of different age groups and aimed at helping her students to enjoy learning music.
