Sebastien began his piano training at the age of four. At the age of nine, he began his cello training in Music Office of Leisure and Cultural Services Department under the tutelage of Ms Qi Hanfang and Ms Amy Cheung. Sebastien obtained ABRSM Grade 8 on both cello and piano with merit. After finished his study at Music Office, he continued his cello training under the tutelage of Mr Artem Konstantinov, principal cellist of the Hong Kong City Chamber Orchestra. Sebastien completed the Associate Degree of Music at Hong Kong Baptist University in 2014. He graduated from HKBU with Bachelor degree in 2018, majoring in cello under the tutelage of Mr Cheung Ming Yuen. Sebastien participated in many orchestra and ensemble training, string orchestra including the New Territories Youth Strings and Island Youth Strings. He was also the principal cellist of The Hong Kong Civic Youth Orchestra which conducted by Dr Gilbert Sak. He has also participated in orchestra training in university, including Collegium Musicum HK and HKBU Symphony Orchestra. Besides teaching at different music companies as a piano and cello tutor, Sebastien has been working as an instrumental tutor in various primary and secondary schools since 2014. Therefore, he has extensive experience in teaching group teaching, as well as, individual teaching.
