As a Berklee College of Music student double-majoring in Music Education and Music Business & Management, I bring both pedagogical training and industry insight to my teaching. I have extensive experience in one-on-one piano and music theory instruction, teaching fluently in English and Mandarin. My recent internship at the American International School of Guangzhou (AISG) involved conducting the 8th Grade Band (40+ students), selecting repertoire, and refining ensemble dynamics. I also assisted secondary band programs, implementing differentiated instruction for varied skill levels (ages 12–18), while observing faculty across disciplines to adapt teaching strategies for diverse learners. My approach combines technical rigor with creative engagement, fostering confidence and musical growth.
