While my professional background is in architecture, with over 10 years of experience working at global firms, my passion for teaching has grown through various volunteer and mentorship roles, and I am eager to transition into education full-time. Over the past few years, I have volunteered at a senior community center, teaching lion dance to seniors, as well as tutoring English for children aged 8-12. During my time living in New York City, I served as a youth mentor for the Center for All Abilities, engaging with children/ young adults in small and large group settings. I taught baking skills, art, and provided homework support, which allowed me to develop a deep appreciation for helping others learn and grow. It was during my work as a Youth Mentor at the Center for All Abilities that I discovered my true passion for teaching—a desire rooted in encouraging others to realize their full potential. Alongside my volunteer work, I am also working toward completing a certTESOL certification, which I expect to attain by November 2025. I am confident that my strong communication skills, adaptability, and genuine enthusiasm for supporting learners will make me a valuable addition to your child's educational journey.
