After graduation, I worked as teaching assistant in the University of Melbourne and also tutored a number of high school and university students from Australia, Hong Kong and China. I have more than ten years of experience in coaching HSC/IB/GCSE/A-Level/DSE students, and also biomedical and elementary chemistry subjects in University level. My long experience in tutoring enable me to recognize the common misconceptions and mistakes among students, and also the common question types in various public examinations. My personalized teaching techniques will help students to consolidate and build upon foundation, identify and overcome their weaknesses, and develop critical and analytical skills necessary for the success of study. I have prepared a set of succinct handouts and can prepare worked solutions for past examination questions. I am currently a full time private tutor, thus can flexibly arrange time for tutorial. I am currently a year 2 student studying Medicine. I am an experienced tutor, having taught Math and English at various levels before. I look forward to tutoring Math, English, Biology and Chemistry at various levels and under different curriculums -IB/DSE/GSCE. Aside from being a subject-based tutor, I also offer lessons on public speaking or debate as I have prior debate and public speaking experience in Sing Tao Inter-school Debates and Standard Chartered Public Speaking Contests which are useful since they have helped me improve my eloquence in these languages. I am fluent in English, Cantonese, Putonghua, Tagalog and Fukien; I am interested in tutoring students to better learn those languages so that they can become more fluent. I also offer piano lessons, having completed Grade 8 and winning multiple competitions like the Hong Kong Youth Piano Competition.
